You are correct, sir. I do in fact believe in something greater than atomic phenomena as the basis for existence.
But the master-slave relationship demanded by the most neurotic god ever penned by men would be so beyond offensive as to be laughable if not for all the evil done by his followers, claiming to be merely following his dictates.
When one worships the god of jealousy (the only ancient god so jealous of others that he belonged to no pantheon), it shouldn't be all that surprising that the religions that spring up around him are a bit... imbalanced.
