Re: Need Help - Fairly Desparate - Sugar Sensitivity
Now that I have my candida more under my control, there are some days i feel virtually cured and then others where I am reminded that it is not over till it over. Just because you experienced symptoms while taking antifungals doesn't mean that it is not candida. The antifungals do not kill the candida like an
Antibiotic kills bacteria. Somehow your gut flora has been affected by either
Antibiotic use, hormone use or mayber even mercury from fillings or poor diet. When the good bacteria is wiped out, this gives the candida a spot to move into. Lets say your intestines is a 5 block area. As the good neighbors move out, the candida moves in. The more of em you have the worse it is. Getting rid of them is like throwing one family out at a time and then replacing them with a good tenant. The antifungals do not wipe out the entire population.
This is why it takes time.
You can try to talk yourself out of the diet but if you give it a good shot, you will see how what you eat is linked to how you feel. All of the symptoms you mention are ones I have experienced with my candida. If I would eat something wrong it would be like something was stuck in my stomach and make me feel slightly nauseated. Candida will also impair your ability to absorb minerals leaving you weak and crappy feeling even when you are not having die-off. Often I take antifungals before bed as not to feel the die-off.
Have you tried any colon cleansing? The two things I have found that have worked for me is diet and cleaning myself on the inside which I did not learn from any doctor but from the people on here. The people here have lived it and felt it. Anyway, if you are killing off candida you have to be elimintating all of that toxic matter through the bowels which means you have to keep them moving. Candida loves old dirty bowels and it is not difficult to have dirty bowels if you have eaten the ways most Americans grow up eating.
Best of Luck.
