Of course you should have more greens in your diet than fruit! :) I assumed you were eating large salads everyday? And a few pieces of fruit, from your description. If you're basing your entire diet on fruit then you're missing out on the essential nutrients and cleansing properties found in veggies.

...I also noticed in your above thread that you insinuated that I encouraged your coconut milk consumption. Please re-read my message on this thread, I clearly did not. Coconut WATER and coconut OIL are great, but canned coconut MILK is too high calorie and over-processed for my tastes. I wouldn't consume it in large quantities, if at all. So please don't say I said something I didn't :)

Juicing DAILY may help your constipation. Some people find at least 1 cup of fresh carrot juice and 1 or 2 grated beats in a salad later on help greatly in constipation (note: beets will make your stools red, don't worry about it - it's just the beet's natural colouring). I have used this method successfully in the past to stimulate a bowel movement. Carrot juice is great too, you can drink lots of it (I"m glad you like it!!). Carrot juice with one or two oranges juiced with it is delicious - and if you're feeling spicy, throw about an inch of ginger root on the slow speed of the juicer in there too. BUT if you juice daily it should be your breakfast - do not eat for breakfast, drink instead to give you digestion a break. So you can juice up to 4 cups of juice to keep you full if you want. I like 1 cup of pineapple juice (1/4 pineapple), 1 cup Celery (4 stalks of celery), 3 oranges and a lemon. You can also add carrot juice with another meal or juice it along with your other juices. It'll help you detox faster. In the summertime, you can juice pretty much anything you cna get at your local farmer's market. Fresh apple juice is good this time of year too. But carrot juice, along with oranges, are excellent master cleansers.

... do you eat ONLY romaine and spinach? No other vegetables? Heh, that will hafta change!! Broccoli is your friend!
