Another option is to download System Mechanic trial version http://www.iolo.com and run the registry cleaner and see if that will eliminate references to E and adobe for you. I have had great luck with this tool.

DO NOT use the professional or mobile trial versions, they contain firewalls and anti virus software that may conflict with installed firewall and anti virus programs. I believe the install will recognize conflicting programs and give you a warning.

You can also use any number of cleaning tools, some of them donation ware like:

If you choose programs like this be careful NOT to install things like the Yahoo! toolbar if you do not want them. These things are added to programs like these to generate revenue... nothing is "free".
