thats interesting. my ability to get attracted by television indeed doesnt help natural sleeping times. i think you are right in sleeping around 10 o clock is really beneficial.

one of the major difficulties in accomplishing this is that these days people, especially in winter, but during summer evenings as well, have so incredibly much light in and around their houses, as well as general lightning across neighbourhoods/city's, etcetera

i would imagine natural balance gets disturbed that way. i mean, it gets dark for a reason, one would think ;)

depending on my activity level of that day i mostly tend to get sleepy around 10.30pm. i noticed if i ignore that feeling just the slightest bit, my restfull sleep is gone. give into the feeling of being sleepy and get to bed
