Re: sleeping hours

I've been a night owl for most of my adult life ... an exhausted one.

One of the first realizations that struck when I began the trek to take my health back was that our bodies DO function on cycles. It is a fact of nature that we release healing/growth hormones between the hours of 10pm and 2am WHEN WE ARE ASLEEP at that time. If you have some need for healing, try going to bed early enough to be asleep by 10, you'll be amazed at the difference this one thing makes. I still hate the alarm clock in the morning, but on days when I don't have to get up by the clock, I'm awake around the same time. 8 hours is now REFRESHING.

MH states that when you have gotten the toxins out, you don't need so much sleep, looks to me like with them gone, there wouldn't be as much need for those "healing" hormones.
