Re: scar tissue-parasites?
Hello there.
Re:
"
Well now I'm not the expert so I don't know why you would be partially incorrect..lol..
"
Not as an expert, perhaps, but I thought that maybe you were thinking of something there.
"
it was a dumb blanket statement that essentially meant, hey I do think your right and onto something.
"
Got it, thanks. I'm always interested in the possibility that I may be wrong rather than right, because this is my basic premise all the time, that I'm wrong. Evidence MUST prove me right (or strongly suggest it), not myself, and I'm a hard person to convince, so that "evidence" must do a very good job. This train of thought has helped me keep my thoughts 'straight' and my head well "screwed on" tight, even when I would like to wish for some research or trial to go "my way".
"
I was also thinking the massive scar tissue I have, pelvic to belly button, sliced up and down five times in that spot, well I don't think it will ever be completely free of some sort of scar, or could it?
"
I may have some 'clues' that could support this possibility. I've never seen it happen, but I "think" it 'may' be possible.
"
It's not possible in my mind anyhow but it certainly is a far cry from what it was and recently someone in the medical establishment, think it was the massage therapist, said it was quite remarkable in what he has seen or compared to considering the amount of cutting that was done. He thought they were careful not to "butcher" me. It does look very good compared to what it did a year ago and it doesn't hurt anymore! = )
"
Glad to hear that. Now here's some of 'my' logic: [bear in mind that this is an idea without any base or support]
IF the 'scar tissue' hurts, it's because it isn't healed. Right? Could be?
OR, it could be that there is "something" 'brewing' in it, or that there is some mechanical damage ['permanent' trauma] that causes this 'pain'.
IF there is a living organism trying to thrive in that tissue, AND it hurts, it could mean that somehow the body may be aware of the process and it's trying to do something about it. So perhaps there's a constant 'battle' going on... The 'organism(s)' trying to grow, the body trying to kill them. Eventually, they may reach some sort of 'dead end', where there's no apparent growth or reduction. That's some kind of 'stasis', but the process would be well active (alive), doing "its thing", and the body would need resources to keep this invasion from spreading 24/7.
IF the process is eliminated entirely, wouldn't the body attempt to replace all toxins AND bad tissue with new one? Would this explain why some people heal scars better than others? Anyone's guess.
"
Now about this UV light, what exactly should I do, and what should I be observing, just anything?
"
Look at the scar tissue exposed to the UV light and watch it AND the surroundings very carefully. Do not observe more than 2 minutes straight. Watch for anything 'peculiar' or anything that you consider interesting or that catches your attention.
If you don't see anything "funny", then just say so. Let's see what happens, shall we? :)
