But, what is the answer - something must be done - for those of us who are sick and use labs, especially the alternative type who do testing that the other "morons" don't do because they think it is a joke, well, this just cannot stand.

Recently I took my 14 year old cat to a vet I "thought" or was led to believe was homeopathic. Long story short, it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a vet in a lifetime of having cats. My baby turns out to be hyperthyroid - the blood work results are always, in my experience, returned to the vet the following day, with the vet calling you up with the results and a consultation of what was found. No extra charge like that "pseudo-alternative doctor" I used in New Mexico just recently.

Well, they told me she was definitely hyperthyroid, blah, blah, blah. I said well I want a copy of the test resuls which cost me $150 - if you can believe this. This state is the most disgusting state I have ever had the misfortune to live - it was supposed to be for a couple of months and I have been stuck here because of sudden ill health on-going. They do not call it the most toxic state in the country for nothing.

Well, the vet's assistant said well, we haven't received the full results from the lab yet and am not sure when they will come in - we will call them and ask for them today - I reminded her that I had a consultation with my homeopathic vet in Florida and that I needed the damned results ASAP. She was very nonchalant, with a "could careless" attitude about her and I had just spent a literal fortune bringing both kitties there for a checkup (this state should be submerged into the Atlantic and save us all from their ugliness, on all levels!!!!!!

So, I said to her well when can you get it out to the post office - I need these results asap? Still, replies as if I did not matter and NOW I was not someone who required kid gloves as a "potential" customer because they already had my money. I suddenly asked her WHO IS THE LAB - she blurted it out - I hung up - I called my earlier vet in the area and they gave me the number of the lab because I just could not find them on the internet.

I called the lab, explained the situation, the girl on the phone gave me the same routine - we cannot speak with patients - you must speak to your vet.

Well, now I was literally fit to kill - I told her that I had the consultation with my homeopathic vet set up - that ALL labs give the results the following day, blah, blah, and I wanted to speak with her supervisor. My voice was now very, very angry and semi- screaming - after keeping me on hold for approx. five minutes (long time) someone else comes on the phone - she claimed she was the supervisor and repeated the earlier idiot's remarks. I then told her in no uncertain terms, in as loud a voice as I couldf speak (at which point she says to me, please don't swear, because I used the word damned) that if she did not have those results immediately sent to the vet and the vet did not have them in the mail to me that very same day, they would be dealing with my attorney in court. My final words were, when my attorney gets ahold of you, you will do more than answer my questions........... and I hung up in her face.

Well, about an hour later or less, I get this call from the vet's office with the same little snyde assistant only this time she was on her hands and knees kissing my feet, so to speak, with the kindest most accomodating voice you have ever heard
telling me that they just received the results and that she was immediately taking them to the post office and if I had any questions, blah, blah, blah.

I had the results in my mail box the next morning.

But the stress and unbelievable anger I endured that entire day I can assure you was no beauty treatment for my health. I have become over the recent years, a semi-lunatic when the occasion calls for it. I cannot help it - I will not take crap anymore - democracy ?????????????? Think again. If I wrote a book on how they literally and systematically KILLED my MOTHER you would freak - that ... bastard took all her money and when she had no more refused to see her again - she had cancer and was suffering but that is just a minor synopsis of the nightmare she lived due to the medical society in this country. I will write a book, accounting all the nightmares we have endured, including me right up to this day.

First I must get my FULL health back.

So, there you have it guys - don't let them step on you - use your mouth - threaten legal action and just let them know WE WILL NOT STAND FOR IT ANYMORE!
