Does your friend have a computer? Because we'll be wanting to know how
you're doing. :-)

And also...as soon as you're settled, etc and have had a little breathing space...
check out the nearest Junior College...and see what they have in the way of
Counselor Courses, etc. See what kind of financial assistance programs they
have too. Tell whoever you talk to...what you want to do with your life...and
ask their advice on courses, etc.

If this is your hearts desire...this is what you should shoot for.

Do you feel comfortable saying what town you're moving to? You don't have to
tell me..I'm just curious. If you give the town....don't give any SPECIFIC information....and whatever you do...do NOT...NOT...NOT :-) give an address or anything on this forum.
