its a small shared private lake. run-off is the worst contaminant, but i dont trust even the rain any more. people spray for weeds and bugs. the fish are plentiful, but some have growths on them. also, it came out in the kansas city star two years ago that 100% of the surface water in missouri is contaminated with mercury. since bush vetoed the 95% reduction of mercury emmisions by coal plants, i doubt it is better now.

there are some huge catfish out there. anyone want them?
