Pain Body

Yes. There is a well known observation amongst healers, that a vast majority of people use their problems for secondary gain. So releasing these problems are seen, at some level, as a loss and not a benefit. These secondary gains can be buried within the subconscious and can be related to all kinds of belief systems and patterns. The gambit ranges from poor relationships with one's mother and/or father, to false notions about self. Self judgement, victim mentality, etc are just some of a myriad of thought constelations that stimulate the "painbody" and keep it looping. As long as the "painbody" keeps getting fed in various ways, it will thrive. The key to break these cyles, is to observe one's thoughts (active meditations) and see that it is not you, but a false story of you, that is functioning in this negative way.

The old saying that cuts to the quick with this notion is..."Misery loves company."
