Re: The Disproportionate Criticism of Christians

Hi WT,

>>>>>>Looks like you are saying Christians should not be seen or heard<<<<<<<

NO, that is not what I am saying at all. I am not talking about shoulds or shouldnt's or rights or wrongs. I am merely talking about cause and effect. I am telling you, from my personal perspective and the perspective of those in my circle with whom I have discussed this issue, at least one reason WHY the Christian church gets so much flack. IF one comes from a place of judgement of others, one will receive backlash. It's that simple. It comes with the territory.

I may not like what is being said, but I will defend your right (or anyone's right) to say it. (I also defend my right to respnd negatively to what is being said). My point was simply to provide a perspective on why it draws fire. Just sharing info with you because you seemed not to understand why the Christian church receives a greater amount of criticism than other religious groups.

I am not sure if that ACLU bit was an insult, but it is wasted on me, as I proudly support the American Civil Liberties Union, and take it as a compliment, not a snipe.
