This would be an acceptable argument, except that you're ignoring the rest of quote, wherein it is stated that all other four-legged (or, rather, four-footed) winged insects are an abomination. I guess we could stretch it a bit... you know, since they don't exist naturally (except in cases where someone has ripped a pair of legs off of them), they would, in fact, be an abomination.
Useful advice, to remind someone that eating things which don't exist will defile one.
Is it OK to eat the six-legged winged insects? Or how about six-footed?
