if you pick up that pbone one time or say one word to him if you meet him on the street he will have you back on the hook to be able to mess with you. even if you say something like, leave me alone! you will be returning the ball over the net and the game will be on again. he will keep messing with you. that game is the way he relates to his whole life. you will never win it except by not playing.

if you have an order of protection, i would imagine that the fact he called you is a breach of it. you can tell the cops. be very careful because a manipulator can set up an accidentally on purpose meeting and if they violate the order of protection and you don't enforce the violation by telling the cops, the judge will throw the order out and throw one hundred percent of your credibility out with it. if he calls your Cell Phone and leaves a message, he will have a call record on his statement. who would be able to prove that he just left a message and you didn't happily speak with him? think about telling the cops. you have a pending court case and everything you do can be used against you if you don't bring it out first. even if you don't have an order of protection, you can go and file a report at your local precinct. explain to them that you just want to document the incident.

you should by no means underestimate the sneaky potential of a manipulator. they have natural instincts for manipulating and will later throw it back on you as in the above example. once your legal credibility is gone, you would be lucky if they ever took you seriously again, no matter how much violence was done against you.
