Fast-4-Health, thanks for correcting me on the coffee issue. I don't want to give bad advice. I'm drinking coffee on my fast right now, but I'm going to try and stop on Monday. I appreciate the other comments about ketosis, etc. I knew the
Sugar couldn't be good for me, but I didn't realize that it would keep me hungry. I thought it was more important just to keep the calories as low as possible, without eating anything. Now I'm going to go to strictly water starting Monday. For the rest of the weekend I'm going to have to still drink coffee, because I just can't imagine going off it right now! But on Monday, nothing but water for me. I hope I feel better then. Do you think I'll have energy to exercise? What should I do if I get really weak, dizzy or tired? I can't go to the pageant in that state! Should I try to incorporate fruit here and there? I really would like to figure out how to go about this issue. Anyway, if you have any thoughts on going off the fast by November 4th, without gaining weight that weekend, or how to maintain a fast or semi-fast during that weekend, so that I can stay where I want, please let me know. I don't think I'll be fasting straight through until the 4th, so if you could also offer advice on how to stagger the fasting/eating, that would help a lot. Again, thanks for all the info!
