Thanks so much for your reply. Do you know why the sponges were taken off the market in the U.S.? Was that essentially a political thing, or are they more likely to cause problems than a diaphragm? I think it had something to do with bacteria or toxic shock or something. I'm not sure about my ability to properly position a cap, and now that I'm a in monogamous relationship, I would really like to chuck the chemicals. I guess I need to get on the phone with birthcontrol.com or the Persona company and find out more about using supplemental natural hormones with that method, because it sounds pretty appealing to be able to have some spontanaity, but I just can't risk getting pregnant, either. Anyway.... I guess we were designed to reproduce.... Tweet
