Re: Copper IUD, cervical cap, other methods

Dear DianePMT,
The coil would make your period heavier and give you more problems - and it is not 100% safe eigther!

Hormonal contraceptives are absolutely not healthy for you!

Theese are the best contraceptives I have ever seen:

The Persona unit; meassures your hormons instead of affecting them. Testing-sticks are used to make a urinary testing; Your hormonal levels will be messured inside the unit, and it shows
you green and red days!

To be able to use this your cyclus has to be normal, you need to stop all hormonal tratments before to start the testing, and you have to have at least 2 following natural cycluse`s
which means: between 23 and 35 days), your 3rd period must have started before to take persona in use.

To count your syclus, you count the first day of your period until the day before your next period starts. If you don`t wait, it will not show you the right signals! The same is if you have been pregnant or breastfeeding; wait until your syclus is normal!

If you are able to follow regular messurements and some disipline;
this method is really good. The first month you need to use
16 testing-stix and the next month you only need to buy 8.

But you have to avoid intercourse during the red days to be protected!
You can see the unit at www.unipath.nu, or call Sweden to ask if they know where to find it in the USA, or in your country!
(Sweden +46 46135500)

Safety: Clinical studies shows that the safety is 94%, if you follow the instructions, and only use persona. This means that if 100 women uses persona during 1 year, 6 women would get pregnant because the unit does not show the fertile days correctly!

During the red days; I suggest you to use Femidom`s
Woman`s condoms, they are quiet good if you know how to use them.
Fill them up with oil; they are made from 'polyurethane' and can support oil.... compared with other condoms, but remember to use quiet a lot of oil inside and outside....more sensitive than condoms, but more exspensive and really safe.....a little unusual and sometimes uncomfortable for the man....
Try it, but not without oil - use only olive-oil, almond-oil,
weat-germ or any other oil you could also eat!
Best regards from Lillian
