My husband was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 41/2 years ago. The doctors were extremely unhelpful in advising him of any dietary changes, saying that diet doesn't affect colitis- instead just prescribing him more drugs. A few months ago he developed a severe flare-up and not even the drugs were helping. That's when I discovered Sheldon Gesensway's vitamin E enema & diet on this forum.

Within a few days, the symptoms calmed down and after about five days the bleeding stopped and he started to have regular bowel movements without that previous urgent need to go throughout the day. His general health also improved and he had a lot more energy.

Doctor's are sceptical of any alternative form of treatment- but the results speak for themselves.
