Good Morning!!!

You are too hard on yourself. You actually do better than I do with your diet. The key is to find a healthy balance that is satisfactory to you and to your family. A strict vegetarian diet is not for everyone; as is the case for my family. However, a healthy daily consumption of fruits and vegetables is a very necessary part of our daily nutrition. Chicken and fish contain proteins and essential oils that are beneficial to the body and continue to be a part of our nutritional intake. If you find that you develope an allergen to a certain food, simply eliminate that item from your diet; don't panic over it. If you've never done a cleansing, then toxic buildup in the body from the environment or from an over indulgence of processed foods or sugars can result in eczema manifestations from the body. In essence, it could be an accumulation of things overtime that is causing the breakout. Basically, you're in need of an "oil change" (car reference). Considering that the human body is our personal vehicle, a cleansing is a natural process to good maintenance of the body. Unfortunately, doctors don't share this information with their patients and people continue to keep running on "dirty oil" (which is the reason for so many breakdowns).

I want you to calm down in the process to healthier living. I'm still learning myself, but I won't allow myself to panic over the fact that I havent crossed every 't' or dotted every 'i'. It's a learning process, your body will certainly help you in the search for healing with a 'symptom shout' if you get out of line. I simply visited the local library and checked out books on healing disease naturally, healthy cooking, and foods that nature made. One of the most extensive bits of information regarding "foods that heal" and " foods that kill " are found on this curezone website. For a quick, short list of "foods that heal", you can take a look at the nutritionfarm.com website or the fatfreekitchen.com website. One of my favorite websites providing a list of foods and their nutritional value is the abundanthealth.ws websites. They categorize and list fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, meats and give their nutritional makeup.

Regarding your immediate itch relief, I would look to natural remedies for poison ivy or oak for fast itch relief. You can find these items at your health food stores. Some options are Quantum Itch Nix Herbal Relief or Jewelweed liquid Spray by herbal remedies. It may seem odd to look in this direction; however a poison ivy reaction is considered to be a contact allergic dermatitis. I mainly focus the attention on these particular products because they address the itch. With any of these items, try it out on a small area of the skin first to test for allergens. Your health food store should allow for sample testing. Look at the ingredient listing in the particular mentioned items (especially the itch nix relief) to gain insight into the anti-pruritic (anti-itch) herbs.

Again, stop being so hard on yourself. None of us are omniscient; it's a learning process. However, I do like that you are willing to acknowledge your flawed areas and work to improve on them. That's a sign of great character.
