Ami JO - Thanks for the info on dandylion tea!

If you have any other insight, here's some health history --
- female, late 30s
- just within "healthy" weight range but at top, 20+lbs gained in 2 years
- most weight gain in midsection
- edema in lower legs for several years
- was injured 2 years ago in trauma
- have had kidney stones age 16, 21 and 28 (none since that i know of)
- had one chinese doctor tell me that my kidney was weak and my thyroid low
- had another chinese doctor tell me my liver and liver meridians were the issue
- nothing shows up abnormal in standard western blood tests
- was borderline anemic as a teenager
- suffer with Depression of and on since a child
- exercise moderately, biking and walking
- had leg injury in fall that took a long time to heal, still have a weird lump
- was diagnosed with 'fibromyalgia' when docs couldn't figure out the edema and the pain in my legs
- have been getting bad pain in my feet for last couple years (since injury) which is worst upon awakening in morning
= i take systemic enzymes which have helped somewhat with leg pain
- i rarely drink alcohol although i did when i was younger
- i rarely drink coffee although i did when i was younger
- my diet, while not perfect, is much better - i avoid most bread and 'white' foods, eat more veggies and fruit, some meat mostly fish, no red meat

Does that give you any other ideas for herbs?
