To clarify:

If one poster is allowed to post their "informative/controversial findings" then all posters should be allowed to post the same type of post. For example if Lapis can post his information and not be hidden then 9thbody should be afforded the same right.

When it comes to personal attacking, in my humble opinion it is a great difference. A post stating that "Bob Jones is a crazy S.O.B." or "All Buddhists are grumpy people" etc. etc. etc. should not be allowed.

Who benefits from that? No one.

I believe that Quinthius was differentiating between the two types.

I'm so tired of wading through this junk to get to the good stuff. And in essence a lot of the good stuff gets missed by me, because I try to stay away from the negativity. The negativity seems to be affecting all of the 'Zone like a parasite affects the whole body.
