Re: The Colours of the Sun
Good day to you Mel,
I did indeed view the links you posted; they were most helpful in fact, and much of the “symptoms” of yellow-deficiency (?) were all too familiar to me. Liver, gallbladder, low self-worth (in the eyes of others), overly-analytical, pessimistic, indecisiveness…the list goes on! I studied the symptoms associated with the other chakras, and it is more than clear that all my emotional/spiritual and physical complaints (however minor) all relate to the third chakra.
I visited a small store a few towns away earlier today, and there I found a piece of yellow jasper I was attracted to, so I duly purchased the stone. I plan to meditate over the weekend, either holding the stone or with it placed just above my naval; and then again after the olive oil potion on Monday night. So, the lemon meditation vision was delightful, but as I now have a small stone to concentrate on I shall leave the lemon for my maple syrup…;)
The linkage between colours and gems and the chakras fascinates me, so I shall do as much research I can over the weekend. I have many old, so-called “occult” books, and many of these touch upon the spinal ladder, the chakras, kundalini, etc., and if I discover anything of interest I shall be sure to let you know…
I was also thinking that yellow, gold and copper are all clearly related, being, as each they are, symbolic of the sun. Do you feel that gold and copper would also redress the balance somewhat, or must one concentrate solely on yellow?
As to your kind offer, I would be honoured. Do you require details to heal over distance, such as full name, location, etc?
Oh, and while I remember… Is it wise to space reiki sessions out, or can I book another session soon? My head is still a little numb, and I have been forced to strain on a few occasions due to an odd tightness behind my eyes. I feel as if I should do something to hasten the departure of whatever it is that is causing we to feel weary; or, to encourage the transition.
