Glad to hear that your induction into the world of Reiki was a productive one :)
I didn't experience anything as intense as what you describe in my first few sessions, for me it seemed to build in intensity each time.
It's not surprising that your practitioner saw pink, as pink is a healing colour and is linked with the heart chakra (as is green) - she did say that you had taken on a lot of energy and this seems to have been concentrated at the head area, so it seems that this area had a lot of healing to do. Pink also represents love and sometimes protection.

The black around your solar plexus chakra could be a shadow or a blockage in any of the aspects of your life represented by this chakra:

Self esteem and personal power are key for this chakra. Do you have an aversion to the colour yellow, by any chance? Visualising yourself breathing in yellow, or gazing at a yellow object like a plant with yellow flowers can help when working on this chakra.

The knees and the areas below coming up in relation to the images of greenery and fields was interesting - the knees (according to 'Heal your body' by Louise Hay) can represent pride and ego, so maybe this has a part to play in your desire to retreat to the hills... The ankles can be inflexibility and guilt, and the ability to receive pleasure.

The arms represent the capacity to hold (or maybe embrace) the experiences of life, and the neck represents flexibility, the ability to look around and take in all sides of a situation. The left side of the body can represent emotions, and also the past, so maybe you released a few blockages in these areas too.
