Re: Offer of distant healing

I wrote this in the Spirituality Forum and after some thought because it dealt with Reiki, I felt that it would be interesting to share here as well. -HH

I am a Reiki Master and I incorporate Reiki in my life with everything. But one lesson that I was taught was to make sure that my intent is for the highest good for all being considered.
Well yesterday I had that pointed out to me again.
We have this annoying neighbor who lives kinny corner across the street from me with 5 children who run all over the place and cause trouble. Plus their dad is just as bad as they are. So because I get the brunt end of it living across the street from him, I decided to do reiki on them so that we could all live better here. Well one day it got really bad. He is the only loud person and trouble maker in my neighborhood here. So a few months ago, I did reiki on their family to where they would want to move soon. To back up and explain a bit more, we live in a mobile home park. They sold one double wide to get a manufacture home. I know that with teh way the kids played, they would be happier to have land of their own where they weren't bothering anyone else living so close. Especially since their new home took up all of their yard so they play in the street and damage other people's homes which is against the rules here. There is land for them to play in certain areas, but since the parents nor the children can follow the rules here, it makes it miserable for everyone.
So when I did reiki on them, I did it with the intent for their highest good. Where they would want to move and have land for their children to play, and we could live in harmony here without them. (the kids in the park play elsewhere when my neighbors aren't home with their children so it is nice and quite here when they go camping and such during the summers) Well yesterday I finally got my wish so to speak. They started packing everything up and seemed really happy about it. Me on the other hand am happy as well, but kind of nonchalant about it as I have been waiting 5 years for something to break, thus why I did what I did a few months ago.
But with reiki, I made sure that my intent was in the highest good for all of us. Their family, and our neighbors here. So that way everyone wins. And funny thing about reiki, you really do need to be careful what you wish for, because it will happen. :)
