There is no right and wrong when you need to pay your bills and are doing reiki full time. We have a very successful Organization here in my state, but for people in my area, the prices are too high and the drive too far. I also do house calls and no one in my state offers this service, plus few here work with animals.
But yes, Reiki is Reiki and energy, I charge for my time and wear and tear on my cars, not my gift. I do receive back for my gift when I see people get healthy, dogs become unafraid of humans and other animals who had a hard time walking due to old age be able to walk. So it really balances out for me. I receive the gift of having my heart touched as well as they do. And no money amount can touch that. However bills have to be paid so.. :)

But anyway, I enjoy it and I put in a lot more in my life and others that my practice doesn't even cover, like healing the land, (esp where I live) and going to reiki circles and churches to do healings with others for free. Also healing people's lives so that they can live amongst each other.
