Self Attunements

I tried the self attunements from teh grassroots website after I became Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and nothing worked for me. In fact I still have the paperwork. lol The only thing that it did help me in, was that I had found the Karuna Reiki symbols on the net so when I became Karuna Reiki Master, I was already versed on what the symbols were and how to draw them for my test.

While some may benefit from doing their own self attunements, I feel that myself and many others benefitted more from being attuned by another person as well as taking their classes. For one, paying for the classes means that you take it seriously and that you are willing to work for it like you would for any other class that you pay for. Two, you have the benefits from having a teacher to ask questions on when you experience new things or to help you along if you run into a snag (i.e. cleansing and rebalancing of your energy during Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki).

Taking Reiki classes is truly a benefit to many people and can be intergrated into your whole life. I have used it to help other people, animals, myself while I am cleansing here at the cleansing forums, saving plants that are about to die and help a garden grow better amongst many other things in my life. I also own a holistic health care practice to where I help people and animals as well as do house calls to those in need because Reiki is such a wonderful gift.

For those interested in taking classes or who just want to learn more about reiki, please check out the websites about it and books as well. They hold very good information on the subject.
