Re: Well hydrated, one BM/day, herbs included not much happening.
Hi there, To me my diet is not strict but to others it probably would be! I wanted to get healthy and fit so bad that I was prepared to make any change necessary. It is no big deal to me now though. My taste buds and appetite have changed dramatically and I have no desire to eat meat, dairy, wheat, sweets, etc, etc. I eat mainly fruit and vegetables, most of it raw. Big salads are my favourite. Also I eat loads of sprouts, millet, quinoa and short grain brown rice. I drink lots of water, freshly made juices, alkalizing broths, herbals tea and organic goats milk whey. Added to that I use lots of organic olive oil, Udo's Choice oil blend, flax oil and a wholefoods supplement called Omega 3 Basic. At the end of the day I take 5 caps of Primal Defense, which is probably the best probiotic around. Occasionally I will use digestive enzymes, OmegaZyme is the best I've found, if I am eating cooked foods.
It took me about a month to start removing plaque but it came out very easily and in large quantities; which is what you tend to find when you use herbs and do some preparatory work. If you simply dive in with P&Bs you not only run the risk of constipating yourself through dehydration but also by bunging yourself up with hardenend plaque once it is removed from the walls of the colon. This is because without using herbs or taking a colon cleansing formulation with mucotriptic and mucocorrective properties (ie. mucus softening, loosening and dissolving), such as Holistic Horizons, Ejuva or Arise & Shine, you are going to simply pull off thick hardened layers of mucus from the walls of the colon. This stuff is as hard as rubber tyre and can be very painful and difficult to pass. In addition, there is the risk that it may scratch, tear or harm the lining of the body as it attempts to pass it out. Surely it makes sense to take some time to prepare the plaque for easy and efficient removal? As I said before colon cleansing is not an easily and quickly accomplished task. It took years for your colon to get in the state it is in and, whilst it will not take anywhere near as long to get it back to normal working order, it will take time. There is no quick fix I'm afraid. Unfortunately, it seems that this is what everyone wants these days. It is a particularly unattractive facet of Anglo/American culture which we have grown accustomed to, people want everything yesterday and are not prepared to put the time and effort in to acquire what they desire. Rant over!!
