Re: Working Out 6 Days A Week?

No, like one day you might do weights, core and 30 mins cardio, the next day you might do cardio only, followed by a repeat of day 1, then a day of say a light cycle to work or 20 mins light cardio and some core training, which, if your body can cope, is like a day off, then have a hard day, like day one again, followed by a cardio or weights day, then day off.

You have to listen to your own body, and it depends on what you are trying to achieve, and what level you wish to get to. Many people don't work on 7 day cycles, they work on 10 day cycles or something else. You need to sit down and think about your weaknesses and where you can improve them, and how you think you can get there. Write yourself up a program, try it, see how you feel, then increase rest, rest days or intensity if you feel you can cope. Whatever you do, do not increase intensity over say 10% in any group of sessions as that is a sure way to get injured. Slow and gentle is best.
