an exceptionally high proportion, of variant populations; it extends a mandatory need, for a major, and specific, intensive search, for its underlying Pathophysiology, its Reversal, and its final Cure.

THE BAD :
Our usual preoccupation, with Koch's Postulates, and Pasteur's Germ Theory; will only serve to verify its presence, yet, not negate its Toxic activities.

Man's Hypothetical approach towards Healing, for the last two hundred years, leaves much to be desired. Science has overstepped its Moral, and Ecological Boundaries; and unintentionally created a Monstrous Disease Entity. [SARS ]

INFLUENZA VIRUSES :

Influenza Viruses Have Two Principle
SURFACE GLYCOPROTEINS,
HEMAGGLUTININ (HA) and
NEURAMINIDASE (NA).

They permit the virus to attach to, and infect susceptible hosts, and are targets of significant host immunicologic responses.
(HA) allows the virus to bind to CELLULAR SIALIC ACID, and to fuse with the host membrane.

(NA) functions as an enzyme to REMOVE SIALIC ACID, preventing self aggregation, and promoting dispersion during budding of new virons from the infected cell.
Mutation of HA, and NA, within a type of Influenza Virus, are known as ANTIGENIC DRIFT, a continuous process for both Influenza A, and B Viruses.
