I quite agree with you that SARS is a very serious disease of epidemic proportions.. The most effective way of curing and preventing it is something of which the orthodox medical establishment is entirely incognizant. The key is stimulating or boosting the body's own immune system naturally, through such things as vitamin C, vitamin A, zinc, garlic, B-6, pantothenic acid, (about two to ten thousand milligrams a day), Echinacea, Feverfew, Licorice root and Goldenseal. The late Linus Pauling found that vitamin C in very high doses was effective against the common cold, the flu and viral pneumonia, while Dr. Robert F. Cathcart has been admistering sodium ascorbate intravenously to AIDS paitients in amounts as high as 200,000 milligrams daily, with very encouraging results. Using this much vitamin C in this manner is, he believes effective against the whole spectrum of viral and bacterial diseases. Even higher amounts,(500,000 milligrams daily) are recommended for diseases like Anthrax, smallpox, ebola and related serious conditions..
