The flesh though, is just following orders, as it were... we have 'fleshly' desires and cravings and urges in response to the human bodys drive to survive. If we have sexual desire, it is nothing more than a primal physiological reaction - the flesh does not know that say, p 0 r n o g r a p h y, is wrong - it just knows that it causes the urge to procreate, and therefore to keep the human race alive. When we crave food, it's a physiological drive to get nourishment, and therefore to stay alive.... My flesh is not the big problem for me - it knows no better. My mind, however, and my ego (I wonder if ego is the right word) keeps me in fear, keeps me thinking that I need those fleshly things in order to be happy ... puts the conditions there that prevent unconditional love. Rudi, did God tell you anything about why we stand in our own way so much?
