The Da Vinci Code & NDE

According to all the hype, this is a "Tread Lightly" kinda subject for many a folk. However, in the Spirit of Hunter S. Thompson, I think we ought "stomp the terra" and discuss (not debate, but discuss) it...like adults (whatever THAT word means).
I'm a multiple NDEr and am not threatened. Yet, I'd like to here from others that are...or know someone who is. I'd like to hear "WHY" they feel concerned...what makes 'em so afraid of this book/movie's content.
For the most part, my NDE's haven't been met with a lotta acceptance and I've managed to survive with or without the approval of others. A lotta times, it hasn't been "fun"...but after the third or forth time someone calls ya "A wacked out Son of Satan" for admitting to an NDE wherein you've died, gone thru the VOID and entered into the LIGHT, you get over it.
Sooooo, let's get on with it. Let's talk about "WHY" the idea of Jesus loving a woman is, somehow, a bad thing...because I don't get it. Based on my NDE, I just don't get it.
