Does it appear as if this agenda has changed over time? Has it gotten more exclusive...more sterilized with historical reinventions?
After returning from my initial NDE in 1972, I tried to discuss what occurred with my local episcopalian priests. This was recommended by my parents who felt my willingness to discuss my NDE was, in reality, a mental meltdown that would require institutionalization. During the coursing of my conversation with the theological staff, I asked, "What gives you the right to proclaim yourselves priest and other people aren't?" The response was some something like, "Upon graduation from seminary school, we go thru the Communion of Saints." Frankly, that sounded sorta nifty to me and I wondered aloud if they had some kinda inside track to God. So I asked, "What was THAT all about...what was it like?" The answer was, "Well, it's a secret ritual, we can't discuss it and you'll have to accept it on faith."
I didn't than...and don't now.
However, there are those that do...and this book really seems to scare 'em at a visceral, archtypical level that (based on the global press) has all the makings of a religious freak out. Weird ol' world, Rudy...weird ol' world.

Me neither. In fact, they coulda been just living together and that'd been okay by me. After all, the guy probably wasn't in need of some cleric sanctifying a union/communion that'd already been made sacred by his Love for another, anyway.

This is, sorta, a new metaphysical twist for me...but it makes sense...and "feels" appropriate. I've got another angle that leans in the direction of INTENTFULLY altering the water molecule by enlivening the liquidy stuff via an energetic offering of earnest appreciation. For me, I'll move my awareness into the most appreciated thing that ever happened in my life which was the NDE and allow the subtle mechanics of LOVING LOVE to flow thru. Others will have their own technique, I'm sure, but the idea of walking on water in this manner appeals to my own way of lookin' at things.

Jealous is an across the board emotion that effects both guys and gals from time to time. It ain't pretty, but is certainly understandable given the norm. I mean, based on the jealousy meme, these disciples woulda felt the same way if Jesus took a shine to another guy amongst 'em. Yet, this Man/Woman thing seems more ingrained/entrained...and makes people afraid for reasons that go beyond petty jealousy or egocentric one-up-manship. In fact, it's so divisive, it feels orchestrated.
Mayhap, The DaVinci Code is feared because it might open a can of worms that leads back to the Adam & Eve deal and blow the blinders offa the foundation of the whole paradigm, itself. Personally, I've known Men who are 18 years old and boys who are 70. The same with Woman and girls. As I see it, chronological age and one's plumbing doesn't make for the passage into Manhood or Womanhood....and it ain't a given...it's an earned...by being a little kind...and LOVING LOVE.
