Afraid of Freddie Crougar (sp?) attack

Hello, Everyone

I would love it if anyone could help me understand this dream. ?? I have been having so many lately and I just can't make much of them......

This one is pretty interesting:
It's at night and me, my three young daughters, my mother and two maternal aunts are preparing for bed. I see out of the living room window, Freddy Crougar (sp?). He taps on the window, teasing me, just waiting for us to go to bed.

I get so mad and tired of being scared that I go outside. He runs up on the roof. I start yelling at him. I then return inside and check all the rooms for safety. AS I approach the LR again, there he is, about to attack me. I grab him and start slamming him against the fireplace hearth. But, as I am slamming him, it turns into my oldest daughter, to my horror. I don't think I was too much phased during the dream but feel uncomfortable, of course, when I consciously realize. Why the switcaroo?

I go check on my other daughters and they are soundly asleep, seperately in different beds (they sleep together as they are only 1 year apart). That's all I recall.

I know the house may represent my body.
And one generation of females - young to old...?
An attack from outside - maybe just fear?
But what about 'he' attacks during sleep - and in the dream we were preparing for bed....what's this about?
