Re: Fecal Impaction During Cleanse - Ouch!
Hi. Thanks for the concern and quick reply. I rarely have BMs on my own ie, unprovoked from another source. Once a week I do magenisum citrate to "flush" things out. I tried a Fleet enema, and you know how narrow the insert is. It was like shooting water on a rock. It would not go in, through, etc, and all the product ran out. I tried to use a Fleet suppository which wouldn't think of going in. It's been three days now but, by the grace of God, but I finished excavating. I almost screamed during times, but I've removed what I think is all of it. I'm still leaking some and still wearing the Depends just in case.
Re: Questions. I do that type of cleanse on a weekly basis and have never had this problem. I am a vegetarian and eat well; I'm also lactose intolerant, so that cuts out ice cream, cheese, etc. I have had colonics, and the woman actually told me to stop coming due to the fact that she wasn't seeing anything unusual showing up after my gall bladder cleansed and didn't want to upset the levels of my natural bacteria. I thought that was fair of her as she was losing $65 per shot in 2001 dollars. I would try anything, I don't have a problem with that, but the only thing moving this mass was manual. I was afraid if I tried to get it out the other way that I would really cause a problem. All I drink is bottled water (2 liters/day) and Gatorade (about the same). How long have I had a constipation problem: when I was 3 weeks old my mother called the doctor to say that her baby wasn't "going". I drank prune juice mixed with my formula until I was off the bottle. 34 years later her baby still isn't going. I do Pilates and walk about 4 miles/day on a treadmill so it isn't that I'm sedentary.
Again, thank you so much. Love from North Carolina and God Bless America.
