You are going to always have bugs no matter what, Pets or not,
learn as much as you can about them, how long they live in our systems, how often they lay eggs, how long before they hatch.
Create your own safety plan, that fits your lifestyle.

But give up your dream?????? I don't think so. How much would life be worth if we didn't have our dreams?

Check out boric acid, grain alcohol, and Iodine for parasite control. They kill and disinfect. I keep spray bottles filled with a 4-1 ratio with grain alcohol. I spray everything, anything I suspect has a bug gets squirted. Especially the carpets, and extra at all doorways to kill all parasites that I bring in on my shoes. I spray my dogs rug. I take simple easy steps to kill the most bugs I can. I use easy to wash throw rugs at doors, wash in boric acid, or Iodine and kill them pesky bugs.
