Re: Gum Disease/Periodontal
Ladies, I have to tell you: This OraMD stuff, I think I'm becoming a believer. Like I said before, I'm not sure which one is working, or if it's just a good combo but this morning I woke up and my mouth didn't feel "hot" like it has felt every morning for the past couple of YEARS. In the mornings, my mouth has felt really warm and icky until I go brush my teeth. This morning, not only do my gums not feel spongy, but they also almost felt completely normal. I am highly encouraged! I am also rinsing after every meal or after every drink with the tooth and gum tonic, and I'm rinsing for about 2 minutes, versus the 20 seconds they recommend. Something is working! I will be so excited if you start telling me similar stories! We're taking off tomorrow. Thanks for the well-wishes!! And right back at you! P.S. I learned that
Sugar contributes significantly to gum disease because the bacteria that cause gum disease feed on sugar.
Sugar is in most things besides obvious sweets (like white bread, pasta, white rice, etc.). If I just have to eat something with sugar, I'm definitely rinsing right after I eat it.
