I hope they did not do surgery will I was under either. It could have been swelling, but the weird thing is that side used to look the same as the other side on top, but now one side has all of it's tissue and the other does not. Maybe I just didn't notice it. I wish I could find a holistic/biological dentist in my area, but the closest one is like 3 hours away. I might still make the trip, though, I am not sure. Have you looked into finding one in your area?

I am going to try my hydrofloss more then, thanks for the advice. I will also look into the mouthwash. You are right that it would be worth it's weight in gold.
