Statistics can be twisted to say what you want! I know someone that od'd on methadone and it was completely on purpose. Anyone that OD's on methadone is because they are not using it properly! The same is true for anything else you don't use as you should...if you drive a car drunk, you can die; if you use a hair dryer in the bathtub, you can die...follow me here??? What that study doesn't show is how many heroin addicts die each year from AIDS and from Hep C, and how many are shot on the streets buying the stuff...now find how many of those problems are caused my methadone--that number is 0!
