That's where I was, and I was skeptical as you are. Its something you have to decide on your own. Fasting and eating raw food teach you to enjoy food and that food is to nuture your body not for any other reason. Eating Disorders are emotional diseases, as you know, and once you get rid of the power of food than you can work on what is triggering this. If you dont think you can do this alone, or that fasting and cleansing is the way to go. Than I strongly urge you to seek someone who can help you professionally. Just dont go to someone who is going to push the food pyramid. The reason I decided to fast is I figured it couldnt get worse than it is. I am not going to lie to you the first week was hard, very very hard. Than it become natural to me and I really am looking forward to eating when I am done the master cleanse. But not eating like I used to, I really am excited to have some fruit when I am done for one. Three months or so ago I wouldve been going out of my mind for some fastfood or junk food. It really helped me and I will be here for you if you want someone to help you keep going while you are starting. If you are going to do it I would seriously urge you to do the raw food switch for a week first or two depending on what you are comfortable with. This is very easy to do, what I did was stock on a bunch of organic fruit, vegetables and herbs. I made fruit salad for my breakfast would have a piece of fruit for snack than a large salad for lunch and either a fruit or vegetable for snack than a large salad with lemon juice and herbs for dinner. Well I should probably end this, hope this helped you.
