Since this group of messages is so huge I didn't read them all but I wanted to make certain you see some info to consider. My symptoms were pretty similar to yours and I was false diagnosed for many years. Turns out it was lyme disease and babesia - a coinfection with lyme that is in the family of malaria.

This infection was thought to be localized to certain regions and only spread by ticks. Now it is said to be all over the world and spread by blood, sex, mosquitos as well as ticks.

It is said to be epidemic and it is often the cause of many other misdiagnosed diseases. Here's an article along with many links to sites with other articles, discussion groups, and labs that do the newer and far more sensitive tests.
