yeah it does seem that most people who are deeply religious are very insecure and filled with fear. Thats why its so comforting when they go to church and everyones telling them all you have to do is do as we say and all the bad things you've done will be forgiven, taken away. they can't really think for themselves, their very easily manipulated. Ofcourse this doesnt apply to everyone but I've found it to be very common especially amoung the people who use religion to judge people. They fear that their world will all tumble down if everyone doesnt shut up and follow like they do. This really only to applies to the ones who are judgemental. Some people use the good things in religion while leaving the bad things, and theres nothing wrong with that.
