Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I will be eating cooked meat for a while, until I can find a good source of truly untainted meat, or if I can get proof that the food zappicator will indeed kill the raw-meat parasites.
I have been listening to the author of the paleo diet. He suggests lean meats for the reason of saturated fats. I think that eating all raw food and only cooking meat will be a good alternative for me for now until I can get totally healthy enough to avoid sickness. But, for now, I will stick with lean meats (so the saturated fat from grain-fed animals is not as big of a deal) and organ meats and add good fats like coconut oil and avocado and milk fats.
