Re: About to give up hope....
Hi Stemmy,
I know how you feel. About 3 months ago a doctor prescribed me Proton Pump Inhibitors for Acid Reflux. Did not work as I had some reaction to it. Then prescibed me an antacid, which did not help either. I could not eat as the pain was more or less constant throughout the day and prevented me from sleeping well - my health was going downhill and fast. Even drinking water aggravated it. I then had an Endoscopy and no ulcer or abnormalities showed up. The doctors only solution for me was to double the antacid dosage. I then started to research on my own as I could not stand it anymore.
For me the beginning of the solution came when I found Apple Cider Vinegar (contraversial on the Candida Diet), while browsing the web (www.earthclinic.com). and a friend suggested that I try a gluten free diet. It is then while looking for more information on ACV that I found CureZone. The Apple Cider Vinegar worked on the Reflux - it managed to give me some time off from pain. The gluten free diet gave me some energy - but I wasn't quite there yet. I consulted another clinic for some
food allergy and Intolerance testing. They also did some blood work. I now have a CLEAR list of foods to avoid due to Intolerances and am following a Candida diet. (I am not gluten intolerant - but am avoiding it because of the Candida)
I have also been following my own protocol, which seem to work for me, based on my doctors recommendations and a book that I purchased called "Complete Candida Yeast Guidebook" by Jeanne Marie Martin. I am now feeling at about 75% of my former, very active, self and have started living again - and sleeping laying down instead of sitting all night. So keep up the battle and the hope.
