All the advice you got is excellent. In addition, you might want to consider liver support. All this candida fighting takes a great toll on the liver, and this is what often can get in the way of the things you are doing actually working. The liver has to process all the gunk that is being killed off. And, the fact that you have candida in the first place is in and of itself stressful to the liver, as it has been constantly having to deal with candida waste, and then when you actually start killing it, it is just that much more all at once. The liver, kidneys and bowels/colon need to be open and able to handle the wastes or you can find yourself re-intoxicating yourself. In my own experience, I found that when my my liver was too stressed to handle the die off, I went around in circles, because I remained constantly toxic, and candida loves a toxic environment, so the more I killed, the more it would be too much for my liver, and the more candida would grow in the presence of that toxicity, so I spent quite a while going around in circles and never getting well.
Good for the liver are: Silymarin, Livatone Plus, Liveraid, astragulus, decaf green tea (and btw, NO caffeine - will make your liver issues worse), lots and lots of fresh lemon and also fresh veggies especially beets and carrots. Taking a shower where you alternate hot/cold (5 minutes as hot as you can manage, followed by as cold as you can stand for 30 breaths, repeat twice, then get under covers and lie still 30 minutes). Also, get plenty of sleep and best is in bed by 10 (tho I can't seem to accomplish this one. . .) as liver does its best detox work between 10pm and 2am.
A couple other suggestions.
colonics have helped me a lot to get out the dead candida, and thus a layer of toxins. Enemas can be helpful as well, but not as good as colonics. You might feel a tad worse the day after one, but should feel better then you beagn by 2nd or 3rd day.
Another things is, the sicker you are, the slower you need to take it. I learned this the hard way, by doing the "more is better" thing with antifungals. Many times, you need to build your body up to a certain point before a healing action can be beneficial, and if done before body is able to handle can result in treatment backfiring.
One thing that helped me was alkalizing. I don't do the BSM drink, but have been taking Cell Food (liquid oxygenated trace minerals), magnesium oxide and calcium to help re-mineralize my depleted body. The premise is that candida and other illnesses are due, or at least exacerbated, by being too acidic. You generally want a ph of 7.4ish. If you get some ph test strips and start testing your urine, I bet you dollars to donuts you will be acidic. Now, Remi pointed out that alkalizing did not work for her candida. I agree that it is probably not the cure for severe candida. But, what it did do for me was help prime my body so that it could make good use out of the other things I was doing to get over candida, and was the beginning for me turning this thing around. So, I think it is true that alkalizing by itself may not get you well, but I am pretty sure that w/o being alkaline, one cannot get well no matter what one does. Check ou the Ask Moreless forum for further info. And btw, try a little bit of alka seltzer when you feel bad from detoxing - it helps loads.
