Re: What to do for Depression
Hi Michelle,
This is going to sound crazy, but I am able to ease my
Depression by working through everything I've been avoiding. For example, some of my responsibilities as a mother, wife, and self-employed individual comes along with many things that I don't like doing (cleaning, paying bills, etc.). Honestly, at times I'd rather just sit here at the computer while everyone else just leaves me alone.
As I listen to that inner voice bring up something that I need to do (for example today was getting some birthday cards sent out, calling to schedule some things, etc.) I begin to feel better in general. I easily let my responsibilities pile up and just feel like crap about myself. Actually, today, I felt that I should take a break and rest even though I didn't want to. Boy, its really what I needed!
I hope you find some relief. I'm looking forward to hearing advice from others.
Warmest Regards,
Shelley
