conclusive personal experience

I was a raw vegan for 2 years which led to my candida. This is probably one of the most alkaline diets there is. I think it was the lack of acidity that definitely caused my candida. I never had that hungry feeling while on the raw diet. That hungry feeling is the stomach acid, and if you miss a meal then it will head down into the intestines and kill yeast.

As a raw vegan I never had that. I have only been able to get my candida under control by slowly introducing beef. Now I eat lots of beef (by itself at a meal) and I get that hungry feeling and no yeast symptoms.

Eating lots of veggies, fruits, and starches just makes me eat more bulk which goes undigested. But a small amount of good protein like from beef means complete digestion and extra acid can go into the intestines. I feel satisfied.
