Great! So I can drink coffee?
I posted a question yesterday about coffee. The responses were that my stomach needs to be alkaline--and I don't believe that, I agree with you. Common sence, if you ask me.
To clarify my last post. I took Tums for my first 2 pregnancies. After my second delivery, I was diagnosed with candida (I contribute a great deal of that to Tums). In my third pregnancy, while on the "candida diet", I had no heartburn--only if I cheated.
So where does that put coffee? I realize that coffee is not a good drink for anyone, but the candida diet is so lacking in yummy things--expecially to drink. Pau D'Arco is not exactly yummy in my book. Herbal teas, the same. I can drink them, but they are not "yummy". I enjoy cofee very much, and often drink decaf (any difference as far as candida is concerned?).
I guess what I want to know is, does coffee/caffeine directly effect the candida?
If anyone really knows, thank you for your input.
