No - a definitive answer

Yes - I can say with absolute certainty that it does. I don't drink coffee, but I like my tea. Whenever I drink a cup of black tea I can feel my colon throb afterwards. I don't get that reaction from grean tea.

A cup of tea contains roughly 1/2 the caffeine of a cup of coffee. Green tea contains 1/2 this amount still, and valuable healing compounds too.

So my advice is - if you want to keep the caffeine habit going, switch to green tea.
