Re: *edited* Re: trying to understand

Dude ... I understood about 50% of what you explained. Your explanation is very philisophical about eternity and the now. You are redefining words. Eternity means an infinite amount of time, whereas "now" is a single point in time. VERY different. From a mathematical or logic standpoint, eternity does not equal now. Time can only be perceived by the intellect.

Are you being serious about your explanations?

You don't have an memory of the beginning of your own existence, nor do you have memory or proof of the end. Ah, but what you are saying is that eternity is Now. But why do you need to redefine eternity. Can't you just Now? Why do you have to say that Eternity is Now? Can't now just be now? I'm very confused about why eternity has to be our nature. What does time have to do with our nature?

Whoa ... are you saying that God didn't even know that He was creating us while we were being created? It sounds like you are saying He sneezed and mankind was created. You are really diminishing God's intellect. And how is it that we are overflowing? Please give detailed examples of this overflowingness that we seem to be. I see on television rape, murder, theft, drug abuse ... is that part of how we overflow? We are sinful people in need of a Savior.

I'm very curious to what evidence you have regarding your statements. Where are you getting this information about eternity and now? What authority are you stating that God created us as a by-product of His love?

I'm hearing from you what seems to be an over-simplification of God's character. A character that you are defining to meet your own needs and desires, or defined by your own experiences. Are each of us to experience God in the way we feel is best, or does our Creator want us to enjoy Him based on who He is? Yes, part of God's character is love, but He is also holy, just, merciful and grace filled. Please, don't diminish Him by saying that He is something else. I can't say this enough, do not redefine His character.
